Do you accept insurance?

  • When using insurance, rates vary depending on your plan's coverage.  You can contact your insurance company to find out what your investment will be.  I am paneled with Aetna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, Healthcare Highways, HealthChoice and Friday Health Plans insurance. I am considered an "out-of-network" provider for all other insurances. If you have a different insurance carrier, no need to worry!  Many insurance companies offer out-of-network benefits that could still cover a large portion of the session.
  • If you are an out-of-network client, I can provide you with a detailed receipt called a “Superbill” that you will give to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. The reimbursement rate depends on your insurance, and it would be a good idea to call them to ask. If you are unfamiliar with the reimbursement process or simply don't want to deal with communicating with your insurance, I recommend using Reimbursify to help. They know all the right questions to ask and can help you get reimbursed. The first claim you file with Reimbursify is free. After that, the cost to file a single claim (one visit with a provider) is $1.99.

What is the investment?

  • If you pay out-of-pocket for sessions (not using insurance), the investment is $120 per 55-minute session, $150 for the initial assessment (55-minute, intake session). If you have any questions regarding the investment/payment process, please email me at annalisagvLPC@gmail.com

What is your cancelation policy?

  • I uphold a 24-hour cancelation policy for my practice (this is includes missed/no-show appointments as well). Because your time is specially reserved for you, cancelations less than 24-hours in advance will be billed for the full session fee.

Will our session be confidential?

  • All sessions remain strictly confidential.

  • Telehealth sessions take place through a secure, HIPAA compliant online system.

  • Limits to confidentiality include: if you are a harm to yourself or someone else if any possible abuse is reported to me that has not been reported, or if my records get subpoenaed by a judge.

What will the first session be like?

  • First appointment - Intake appointment consists of filling out paperwork and going over consents for treatment. This would be the time to ask me any question about my style of therapy, etc. I will also be gathering information from you including your background, history, and family if I feel like it’s appropriate.

How are sessions structured?

  • Regularly scheduled sessions are generally about 55 minutes in length, give or take. Together we will determine what needs to be addressed first and what we want to spend time discussing and processing through.
