I have experience working with a wide range of clientele - children, adolescents, families, as well as individual adults - but my primary focus is working with adolescent girls and women from all walks of life.
. . .
I graduated with my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma and then went on to obtain my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Arizona State University. While I appreciated my time in Arizona, I ultimately decided to move back to Oklahoma to take a job helping children and families living in the Tulsa area experiencing trauma and abuse. I am passionate about guiding each client to a life of joy and wholeness.
. . .
I subscribe to a client-centered, relational approach when working with my clients and tend to incorporate elements of Trauma-Focused - Cognitive Behavioral, Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems, EMDR, somatic work, and/or Art and Play Therapy into sessions depending on the needs of each individual client. I am certified in Trauma-Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). If you have any questions about my specialties or approach to therapy, please feel free to reach out through email.
